The end product will be a presentation, in groups of four or five, to the class where the students show a visual of a spacecraft that they have constructed. This spacecraft should be able to land on a specific planet. The students will have to research a planet, which will be assigned to them, and determine how they would make a spacecraft that would be able to land on that planet and how that would be possible based on the environment of the planet. Students will have to determine what supplies would be needed in order to successfully land on their given planet, as well as how big their shuttle would have to be. The space shuttle will have to pick something up from the planet and bring it back to earth. The students will have the option to either creating a power point or a video showing what they have found and how they came about this conclusion.
